Default Grouping in pre searing

i was just wondering, was it only in the beta that we could have 2 maxiumum in a group, or will it be like that when the game is released too?

I hope it will be, one person can run around the entire pre-searing and survive long enough to do or get whatever you need. Two people can do so much faster and easier. Pre-searing is meant to get you in touch with the game itself, learn your character, get used to using your skills, learn how quests work. Pre-searing is simply the begining. If you did not get past pre-searing, which I didnt either in my first BWE, but I didn't know about this great forum then either until afterwards; Then you did not even see 99% of the GuildWars current map/missions quests. You may feel like you have gotten jipped, but you did not join the academy and move on. More than 2 people in pre-searing is too much.

See you on the 27th!!!

Agreed, the only problem I found with it, was trying to get three people I know familiar with the game. Having to split into two groups kind of complicated matters a little. But I do hope it stays only 2.

In Pre-searing other then the adventure with an ally quest there is no reason u should need a 2nd person all mobs are lvl 5 or lower witha few exceptions and lvl 5 is achievable with in 2hrs of doing quest etc, no real reason to group up unless u want to tell after the searing

Sorry to be a nub, but what is pre-searing? What I've been able to figure out is the first world we're in (Ascalon City/Ashford/Foibles/etc...). Am I right? If not please explain as I was also concerned with the group limitation and I'd much rather prefer to be able to group with a few buddies instead of just 1.

Don't worry. In the first city you may have a 2 player party but after it increases to 4. Further in the game you can group with up to 7 players.
As for the pre-searing/searing, you shall see it yourself shortly .

awesome, yeah I'm lvl8 atm almost 9, thinking I'll head out into the big scary world beyond Ascalon . 4 people is cool, actually thinking of friends that's just right. Thanks for the info.
